Our Bio –
Jeff Roy’s Double r Nothin Band hails from Austin, Texas and provides quality Texas Music for a variety of audiences across the state including restaurants, nightclubs, parties and private events. We can size our team to fit your venue from solo to full four-piece band. We also work with a number of specialty players and can provide additional instrumentation including fiddle, peddle steel, and saxophone at your request. Our repertoire includes our original songs and a wide variety of similar material by some of our musical heroes such as Delbert McClinton, Townes Van Zandt, Robert Earl Keen, and Willie Nelson. Our performances are pretty user-friendly and our demographic crosses over many lines depending on the venue. The most unifying trend seems to be – hungry, and thirsty. In short, we’re a good fit for most any crowd, and we look forward to performing for you.
Meet the Crew –
Lead Vocals and Guitar
Jeff is a righteous dude, a helluva player, and is guaranteed to rock the house. Clients with older structures are advised that loose studs and weak foundations can be adversely affected by his stage presence. Excepting some small collateral damage, a good time is generally had by all.
Vocals and Percussion
Ms. Leah Roy’s hypnotic presence soothes that savage beast in any audience with her charming vocal renditions (providing Jeff with an occasional break) as well as yielding a solid reflective quality in her role as backing vocalist. Tough as nails, and smooth as silk – her voice brings a welcome depth to the show while she multitasks, contributing some choice percussion.
Drums and Percussion
If time had a pulse, it would be set by the meter of Will Sabol. Along with his tasty dynamics, Will sets the groove that makes record needles jealous. He doesn’t always play the drums, but when he does – he prefers perfection. He is – the most rhythmic man in the room.
Bass and Vocals
Dave Nash is wanted in at least four states for violating acoustic ordinances and is suspected of having a hand in generating multiple seismic events. He has thus far managed to maintain his alias and elude authorities while providing us with a solid sub-sonic foundation for the band’s hi-jinx.
